991.2 GT3 RS

IMO-- it is akin (in a little way) to the Singer mantra. Why tear apart and build a custom Singer vs restoring the Carrera to its OEM spec? Well.. because you can make it yours. Make it unique. Become more emotionally attached to it , making it more personal. Make it sound better (to your ears), make it have more HP (could be meaningless but so what), make it have special stickers (911R stickers on anything not an R). I like the Dundon system. But since I have a 6 yr/unlimited miles CPO GT3.2, I don't plan to do anything at this time.

In yous guys experience, how long do these cars sit in port before getting picked up by a transporter?
Is it too optimistic to expect it to be here this time next week? (I'm a 4.5hr drive from Jax)

Nope, it's a GT3 about to get unloaded in Jax ... I just ask here because that's where all the shipping nerds hang out.

I took the side cans off my .2 GT3RS and replaced with GMG elbows. Its amazing how much weight is shed, i had to lug the stock ones to my basement and they are heavy!
Sound clip attached. I still have the stock center and now the sound is perfect. My last setup on my 991.1 GT3RS was straight pipes after the headers, this is a little better, less raspy, and more bass. Also not nearly as loud. Any day now im sure my neighbors will be bringing me champagne as a thank you present for toning it down haha

Man, sounds like my car has been sitting in Houston for a few days now waiting to get on a truck to Chicago.
It's been "V810" since Monday - Released for Transport. I'm assuming once it's "U003", Exit Port Houston, I've got about 4 days until it arrives.
Fingers crossed that its actually been on a truck for a few days now and I'm pleasantly surprised!

^^ No, my button on the console, or the key fobs the system comes with make it always open or always closed.
Otherwise I agree, that open/close bullshet is annoying as hell. I guess needed with the side cans creating torque down low..
