991.2 GT3 RS

They clearly aren't running a charity, so I'm sure they will make as many as they can -- the only difference from the .1 is now they need to change over the production lines to 992, so depending on when they need to do that, it could shorten the .2 production run.

life is still easy. track guys and drivers will buy .1GT3RS´s - for 35% below MSRP. this autumn 2018. in EU.
just a couple of .2 cars will be faster than .1 cars in real life.
its not like it was in 997 days. with 0,2l difference. or as it was with the 991 GT3´s....
997 days shows the real market for such cars. between 3.6 and 3.8 are and were like 30k difference. and so can´t be nearly 100k difference for the 991GT3RS´s meaning "just for another tire" and little modified power curve - i guess not more than 4% higher hp in real life.
put Kevin on a perfect day in a 991.1GT3RS MR with Cup2r around the NOS. i say; 5sec it could be slower than the .2. meaning on normal racetracks below 1sec difference.
P didn´t had to push for the 991.1GT3RS the NOS time. this thing was sold out before even trying it hard... when did they published the 7:20 ?
it could be that they needed the .2 NOS time as good to help justifying the ongoing market value gap between .1 and .2

Are you going to do a PPF before the Euro delivery.........that would give me piece of mind. Love the protection the PPF has afforded me on my 2018 718 CS. I have 7k miles and chip free.

All of the 3RS reviews I have read to date have sounded like they were written by acolytes. Looking for critical, objective, informative evaluations of the 3RS. If there are any such reviews out there please post link(s).

What info do you want to hear? Porsche isn't going backward in any area with these cars. Take the .1 RS and add a bit more power, higher redline, and suspension tweaks and you have the .2 RS. Not to mention tires. How much more "this car is awesome" can anybody elaborate on. It'd be nice, I guess, if journalists would wax poetic a bit more, but in reality there's not much more you can say about these cars other than, "It's better than the previous version. It's faster than the previous version." But it's not like the interior has changed at all. New styling on the exterior. But I just don't know what more can be said about these things until a totally redesigned/new version comes out (992).

Well this is all true but the prior iterations of the GT3s and GT3-RSs had E/F and the low numbered G engines (<G05373) that did not have DLC coated cams and some of these cars required engine replacement. I guess we won't know what if any shortcomings are packaged with the .2 3RS for a while to come.

thanks for the catch
991.1 3RS have 45 front
GT2RS and .2 GT3RS both have 100 in the front
160 for both .2GT3RS and GT2RS in the rear

The objective part is in the stats and specs. The subjective part will only include negatives if the reviewers perceived negatives, and they may have perceived any. Do you have prior experience with Porsche GT cars? They're great cars, hence the lack of negatives in reviews.
