That's because they are either at the track or in bubble wrap.

Everyone that buys a vehicle is a cash buyer.....dealership gets their cash one way or another.....they don't care where it comes from.....and if you finance through them you're good for a little bit more on the IR kickback....

Yes and No. Not everyone that wants to buy a car can qualify for the financing and those that can pay cash (can afford the car) often have friends that are in a similar position.

Yup. More Ferraris and Lambos for sure. Porsches not flashy enough for some of these guys.

without a doubt. I see GT cars because we hang out in the P crowd but by far more Lambo and Ferrari

I love 2 things about GT cars....the fact that you can track the cars and they don't fall apart on you and they don't have that "look at me" look to them like Lambos and Ferraris have.

My understanding from when I called the seller is that it is a single ADM of $25k over MSRP, not sure how you interpreted that to be "double"

As RS prices soften I think that is making the decision a little tougher for folks in the same position to pull the trigger on the .2 ADM car.
goin2drt, Focusing in on the "seats" part of your comment above,... I think I hear what you are saying,... such that you prefer PDK & Sofa,... but because of the ADM's, it puts the price point up to a point where you would rather buy a slightly older RS that would undoubtedly have LWB's? I think I get it. ADM = painful, therefore exit-stage-left & go a different direction.

The reason I highlight that, is because it seemed relevant to my approach to acquiring another 911. It's all about sacrifices. About a year ago I "thought" I was going to be in the market for a GT3. I really want N/A. I already have 2 Turbo's now, and need a screamer to scratch that itch. Usage will be all-around (Street tours, Treffen's, Autocross, DE's) - a true driver, and it MUST be a manual. So a yr ago I start talking to my dealership, listening to you guys, and slowly realizing I would need to go back to a 997.2 to actually find a manual GT3 (but really still prefer the 991). ... which turns into difficulty finding the spec I want, at a price point that seems reasonable. Frustration has set in for many months.

The whole point of my writing, is that yes, there are guys out there like me, who will now probably never own a N/A 991.2 M/T GT3. So where am I with this now? ... I've succumb to looking for a N/A 991.1 GTS, forgiving some of that 9k redline scream & extra 60hp. 430hp & 7,600 redline in the N/A GTS will just have to do. That's where I sit at this point. ADM's kill any dream of a driver car, ... and for me, the aging GT3's do not have the attraction that the newer 991 technology can offer. If I want "ol skool, I jump in my 1991 964 Turbo with no nannies & scare the sh$t out of myself. But now I want a GT car that can do everything, park it wet & have it come out of the garage the next day smiling.

Gettin' there. We shall see.

My main point was that being a serious buyer, ready to purchase now with cash in hand - you are being played with, given the runaround, and cannot buy what you want easily for most of us. Saps some of the fun and excitement from what should be a fun, exciting, and stress free experience. Not talking about tire kickers/wasting an SA's time or trying to reach for a car that I might not be able to afford & have the deal fall apart after car enters production or something like that. Never really experienced this before with a car purchase and don't think I want to experience that in the future. Work hard enough to earn my money that I don't want to have to "work" to spend it... just my 2 cents and opinion. Speaks to how good this car really is perceived
