New GT3/GT2RS Leads With/Without ADM
#3016
Owned full buckets and 18 way seats (GT3RS, GT4, GT3, etc.) and it obviously depends on your anatomy. The full buckets are hard and rigid and I cannot stand them if I have to drive over two hours, but love/love/love them on the track. Note, your wife will have to keep her legs together and or wear pants getting in and out or faces doing a "Brittney" with full buckets (my wife won't ride in them which on some days is not a bad thing).
Hard to argue full buckets, with two adjustment options, are logically more comfortable than a seat that has eighteen ways to adjust but then again you everyone is different.
Note; not sure why someone would buy a Touring with full buckets. Want a track car with full buckets, get a winged variety. Called a Touring for reason.

Only looked for cars w buckets,I can drive hours in them no problem

I liked the buckets in my GT4, other than getting in and out. That was a PITA and made the car not good for running errands as a DD. Ordered the Sport Plus seats in my inbound GT3. I like being able to quickly put the seat far back before exiting and then readjusting once in to save on wear and tear, otherwise it would have been the 18 ways.

Sorry, I couldn’t remember which thread had the discussion about the new wiessach package. I was able to get allocation but can only get wp w/ painted cf hood. Wondering how many others picked this option?

That is correct, option 808 (WP with exposed CF hood) was Indefinitely suspended around August unless you already had a V200 allocation with 808. If your order was not already v200 or did not have 808 before August then you must select option 909 (WP with painted hood) in order to get a WP RS.
