I live in AZ and tend to buy my cars in the winter months. The market is the market but cars sitting at colder climate locations are more ripe for better deals. With that said, the GT3 market seems to be cooling as others have alluded to. The ADM's are coming down. I've been watching closely and these are just my observations. Most non PTS GT3s priced over 200K are sitting. Even quite a few bleow the 200K mark have not been sold. I think the dealers are going to end up breaking even on some of these cars, at best. They may have overpaid for them or, if they're on consigment, the owner is going to have to accept less if he/she wants to move the car. The days of 20K+ for a non-configurable car are over, with the occasional PTS exception. PTS cars, particularly the blues and greens seem to be selling fairly well but I suspect those prices are heading south. Patience is the virtue for those of us wanting a GT car. MSRP or close to it is not far off.

I have always scored great deals in Dec/Jan for dealers in NE that have 5 feet of snow. They have to move exotic inventory and are a hell of a lot more likely to do so when few units moving. It's almost like clockwork for me...720 this year is my goal.
Going to be some prime pickings come Jan/Feb (granted I'm not talking about GT2 as no need to dump those like 720). And you throw in last week of Dec push to clean out inventory and it's always Christmas time after Christmas. The new dealer in Troy (or a select few NE dealers) with 4 720's sitting in Dec is going to want to move stuff more than your dealership in AZ (and even Chicago). Just my record.
Either way my WP RS arrives late Nov and at MSRP, I think it's a bargain.

Actually I had this build (or so I thought). Salesman Erik asked for $10K over on Saturday morning and I agreed. He asked for my build, photo of drivers license and how I wanted the car titled and asked if wire transfer was ok. I had everything to him within an hour and then nothing for a few hours and he ignored my texts and voice message. He called later, said someone came in and offered $15K over but he would get it straightened out since I was first and would call me Monday. He called Monday and said they decided they would go with the other customer since they had a "trade we wanted" and "he got it for cheaper for $7500 over" It's all BS. The gyrations some of us have to go through to get a car has really soured me on the Porsche brand. That's after owning 6 911's, two of which were GT3's.
