Cant' Get an Allocation for a 991.2 GT3... So What's the next best thing

For a NEW car and about the same money(as a nicely equipped .2GT3), the AMG GTR is about as good as it gets and closest in performance.

Easy... 981 Spyder.
I’ve had a 991.1 GT3 and GT4, and the Spyder is the best of the 3 in terms of driving fun especially on road in the mountains.
Fortunately I have a 991.2 GT3 manual coming as well, but I doubt I’ll want to part with the Spyder.

i would do the mclaren, i recently took one on a long test drive and it was amazing. the car is just so fluid it can be relaxing when you want it to be and a beast when you want it to be...
i'm surprised the voting scored it so low.

I feel your pain. Nothing since the 997 GT3RS interested me from Porsche and then the 6MT GT3 was announced I needed to have one. Since you already have a Porsche, I would keep it and let the GT3 market come to you or just pay the $15-30k ADM. Over a Long ownership horizon it is negligible cost. With a $175k budget you can make it happen even with ADM. Everything else I am interested in is used. Another Exige, an Aero 8, a 612 MT.
