Montoya I appreciate the time you put into the spread sheet. What’s with all the confidential answers, lol
Are people afraid they are going to “steal” their color.

The fact is that this thread is trying to get
to verifiable truth with regards the status
of a PTS order for a US customer that does
not have 918 VIP status. Since the very
beginning, folks have thought they were
approved for PTS on the .2 991 gt3 only
to find out they were in V180 limbo waiting
for PAG to officially approve. It's not that
difficult to ask your dealer to copy the status
of your order & give it to you (e.g. V215).
It's not my hoop...it's just that if we are to
know what is going on we need to have
verifiable proof of folks going from V180
status to V200+ status. I hope that makes
sense. It is only when we have proof that
non-918 VIPs are being approved for PTS
that it will give hope for others that they
too will be off this horrible PTS purgatory!

Also what’s the point of people keeping it secret being on the list Montoya works hard for ?

I know I am new to this Porsche "game," so I certainly can be missing something...but my understanding is that the timeframe from V200 to vehicle completion, V300, is about 1 month.

So if I am anticipating my build to be in April (for example) then wouldn't it stay V180 until sometime towards end of March before flipping to V200 status?

If so then why all the angst now about majority of people lingering in V180? Don't we normally expect the majority to be V180 for months to come?

What am I missing?

Thanks.

Nice choice. How did decide to go with Gelbgrun ?
I was torn between Viper Green and Gelbgrun. Went with Viper but it was a tough choice. I also went with yellow deviated stitching, I think it’s worth looking into.

Ed, I conferred with Evil and he said CO2 comes up as colorless on PAG's secret color list.

Same exact dilemma but I wanted a slightly "brighter" green which is why I ultimately picked Gelbgrun. I wanted to change up the stitching and a few other things but my dealer just recently said that the order has locked on his side.

'Gelbgrün' is one of the best 'green'
color formulas ever developed & used
by PAG! Good luck with your PTS order!

The first point of this list is to keep everyone aware of the process of moving through PTS approval and production. By keeping track of everyone, we can be aware of changes to the process, when approvals are coming etc.

The second point is to share your experience and build for this model GT3. When you share the details, at point of order or delivery is entirely up to the individual. I'm with you, happy to share, but TEHO and you have been given the other perspective.

Check again with your dealership. I selected deviated stitching on Friday and dealer confirmed the change with PCNA. If your at V180 like the rest of us your car is changible. Yellow deviated stitching would look sweet on Gelbgrun.
