Came back to enjoy the enthusiasm of others who are about to receive. This was such a fun experience, want to do it again (ED, not PTS.. wasn't worth it to me)

I just got confirmation on a PTS allocation from Porsche DTLA, December build and February delivery. Build locks 8/20. Please note that I have had my allocation since February, this is not a "new" allocation but rather my allocation has - finally! - been approved for PTS. Until today, my PTS build had been denied several times since February. An interesting tidbit I got from my SA was that the slots for PTS are 15% full for all comers (GT3 and otherwise) for December builds. All months prior are booked for PTS. Hence, if you have an allocation and want PTS, at least according to my SA, there is still a chance that you can get PTS - as long as you do not mind delaying your build to December. I don't mind at all - I like the idea of having one of the last 991.2 GT3 builds.

This is consistent with what I was told when looking into a PTS allocation (albeit not for a GT). December is the earliest available for any 911. As of last Monday, December still had a just a few PTS slots open for GT3 and (oddly) GT2RS and also that December is the final month for production of these two models. GT3RS will still be produced into 2019 (makes sense considering it was the last to be announced). They might even have PTS slots next year for the GT3RS if you want to gamble on that.

When I was collecting my car on 8/2 there were 3x GT2RS'es and about the same # of 3RS'es also awaiting collection!

WP not expected to come back before end of production for the GT3 RS. So no more WP.
