My car has been in production v260 for over 7 weeks. No guidance from Porsche as to why. Was promised the car would complete by 3/23 and it didn’t. Hopefully this week but beginning to wonder what went wrong in the production process for it to be v260
for almost 2 months. My dealer has never seen this.

It appears it will not be here for smokies and I’ll be driving the raptor. Kind of makes the event harder to look forward to.

Throttlesteerer: Congrats on a perfect Gulf Blue build. As good as it gets. What is that circle in the rear of your center speaker grille? I’ve never seen this before on a car with or without SC...

Is that frenetic production schedule to deliver euro cars first because of emissions I’ve heard discussed? My Car was built in December delivered over a month early in the beginning of February. Another RL’er and friend had a scheduled June delivery that is now July on a PTS car. I hate missing the warm sunny driving days. Well you never know things can change quick and maybe you guys will get these cars a little earlier.

Thank you and everybody else for your nice comments.

Well thats the centre speaker grille.
Ordered CZW "Dashboard Trim Package in Leather" and that is what I got.
According to the configurator it should have looked like the pic below.
But I actually quite like it as it is a more differentiated look from the non-leather version.

Latest on my gelbgrun car that went into production on 2/3... was supposed to complete 2/9, then 2/16, then 3/9, then 3/23.

None of those happened and now it is pushed to 4/6. I’ve called the Guinness Book to see if I will hold the record for the longest production of a modern car 😂. Oh well. It’ll get here someday!

When I inquired with PCNA they said it is PTS paint / part related. That was all I got. They also confirmed what weve already heard... there will be no PTS for the GT3RS.

Sean,

My PTS Mex Blue Touring delayed, too, now June production October delivery. Had been April production July delivery until last week. (Previously March production, and previously Nov 2017 production; on order since March 2017). Only explanation from Yana: all PTS cars delayed.

There is a white 2014 GT3 and a SBM GT4 available for rent on Turo in Atlanta area.

Perhaps Sean and Mayur will be co-pilots in Mayur’s hot new (non-PTS) GT3!

That’s crazy. I wonder what the issue is? Maybe they had to re-order paint.

If Porsche needs time with PTS cars, perhaps they can also paint the wart on the roof (winged GT3) and rear deck (touring) instead of leaving it black. That would ease some of the "wait penalty."
