Anyway- you want to be taken seriously you can also have option of taking the advice seriously. Most of us are a little fatigued by the misconception that the easy money policy has brought to the table...guys that think they can basically be car dealers- flipping all their cars and perpetuating an elitist culture of "ownership" vs "drivership"

Maybe you should go back and read your OWN advice and thoughts from just this past JUNE.

Looking at your avatar pic makes we wonder if the pot is calling the kettle black. That audio system is either wishful thinking or elitism. Regardless, it represent that which you are commenting on in this thread - just a different toy so to speak.

Where's the elitism? These cars are expensive. No one needs one, and no one is entitled to one. If you stretch financially to buy one, to the extent that you're reluctant to track it or even drive it on the road, and are worried about the normal drops in market value due to depreciation, was it wise to buy it? Is it wrong for people to point out that maybe such a decision wouldn't be wise?

This is a rather entertaining thread.

I understand where guys like Mooty and CG are coming from. It's about protecting a forum dedicated to the enjoyment of these cars, not the value/speculation of them.
