Just ignore them.
I personally have better things to do than act as Rennlist police.
Many members I used to see here that were bringing real value to this forum have stopped posting altogether or rarely do. I suspect it's partly because of all the BS posts that have been going on here in the last couple of years.

There are many threads I consider silly, poorly responded to, or irrelevant. That does not mean that others feel similarly, and most importantly, I can choose to ignore them. No one coerces me to read anything. Banning, censoring, or editing opens another very different can of worms.

Stop responding to them and they will die. Self moderation and control.

Simple solution >>> moderators clean house and combine all the repeating threads.

The real most important question is - what color stitching should I get around the 18 different headlight options (in leather) I selected.

Also I need to set up a poll - so everyone else can tell me what color I like.

While we're at it, ban any new threads about sofas vs. buckets and steel vs. PCCB's.

This guy is right.
It's the worst I've ever seen since I started lurking in 05-06.

I've never been on a car forum so obsessed with value this value that.
++++1 Value threads are total self-serving BS.

Simple: Ignore them. I don't care to see non-Porsche car reviews and topics, but that doesn't make me want to legislate them off the page.

Reminds me of a politician seeing something he didn't like and said "we oughta have a law against that" Now I'm really dating myself...

At some point, is this thread going to let me know how much ADM to pay for the 991.2 GT3? Otherwise I have to move on.

Agreed. I'm sick of them. I buy these cars to enjoy. The constant hand wringing about values and depreciation definitely takes away from the forum experience.
