I was having serious thoughts about switching out of my ‘18 GT3 and Tesla Model 3 Performance daily for a Taycan Turbo S but came to my senses. Kept the GT3 and traded the Tesla for a ‘22 Etron GT Prestige and couldn’t be happier. I would have preferred a Taycan 4s as a daily but there is almost no inventory in the Dallas market and wanted to trade the Tesla now while values remain very good (got 8k more than I paid with 7k miles and a curbed wheel) so ordering one wasn’t an option. Here is the new daily. Already had it slightly lowered using the factory scan tool (this pic is prior to it being lowered), tint goes on today and wheels have been ordered. It’s not as quick as the Model 3 Performance but is so much more refined and feels substantially more premium, as it should for double the price.
Sold the LC500 and picked an M5 as daily. Spectacular car, tons of power, great handling and looks a little more aggressive with wheels/drop and some carbon. Put about 8k miles on it so far, look forward to the drive each time I get in it…
