Congrats, very exciting to get your allocation, especially pretty early!

Did Sonnen send you back a confirmed submitted build sheet with V200 from their vehicle management system? Manual is still not an option in the system, so you can't submit a complete build with manual selected at the moment (They can submit your build with all your color, options, but just select PDK for now however).

Porsche says manual options will be selectable in a couple weeks for Late-September onwards build dates allocation. However, due to delay at times, we just say October onward build to be safe for manuals.

Just a friendly warning to double check!

I'm guessing you were #1, I put down a deposit 1.5yrs ago and was #4 (now #3 allegedly after somebody dropped off). Haven't gotten a call yet, Sonnen really must not have gotten many MT allocations (was told first 12 were all MT).

PS: Brett isn't my guy (but kind of wishing he was), got referred to somebody else at Sonnen via another Rennlister

Be patient. You will definitely get a .2 GT3 if you are #3; it's a matter of time. Dealers will get several batches of allocations. And you are correct, the first dozen on the list, all wanted manuals.

Brett is a awesome, for sure! But I also think that everything trickles down to management. I commend Sonnen's ownership. They make millions, no reason to be extra greedy.

PS: Yesterday morning I thought I was the most unlucky guy. My 2 year old through his toy and broke my brand new $6000 TV. At noon, I got the call from Brett; I thought I was the luckiest man around. What a day.

You are likely correct. I have not received the sheet with V200 code. I will update when I get the confirmation, it may well be October build. Who cares though, I can wait another month.

All - please keep in mind the 918 allocations do not count towards the Dealer's pool of allocations.

FWIW I just got a call from a dealer that I haven't done business with and is out of state saying that I have first right of refusal for an allocation. Seems like they have been released

PDK.
Configuration closes Aug 31st.
At MSRP.
The guys at Momentum Porsche Houston are true professionals and uphold their word. True examples of what we could hope of all Porsche dealerships.

This just from my dealer that I previously purchased a GT4 from at MSRP:

Just wanted to follow up. We are asking $50k over on the GT3 builds. As a previous client I can probably do closer to $40k on the car. Please let me know if you’re interested although I know it is a huge mark-up. I may be able to go a little less but it will be in that ballpark.
Claims "the rest of the dealers" are also asking $50k over at this time.

I've learned my lesson. I have deposits at TWO dealers for:
992 gt3 and rs / .1 and .2
994 gt3 and rs / .1 and .2
995 gt3 and rs / .1 and .2
998 gt3 and rs / .1 and .2
999 gt3 and rs / .1 and .2
They told me I'm #1 on all of them.

If my dealer comes back to me and say something like the above, after buying a 911 C2S, Macan GTS, and Boxster Spyder in the last 5 years I will politely tell them to pound sand and I will buy a preowned 458 Italia instead. I put my name on the list in February 16 and was told I was #7 on the list. The latest update I got was a few weeks ago saying "highly unlikely" I get a car. Is Porsche really proud of the fact that they condone people buying these as investments vs. the owners who truly appreciate the car for what it is and are purists in nature? Really sad.
