Now I'm looking forward to the beer and the after race talk at the bar

As I mentioned yesterday the traing was indeed in very mixed conditions including a crazy amount of cars being crashed.
It was more of a lottery which start number you ended up in the main race.

The race itself was 90% dry with a 100% dry line but overtaking at some parts of the track was very dangerous.

Soon the "sun in the eyes hour" is upon us...
Let's hope for the best.

Nice going in the race today!

We had a great day out in the sunny Fall weather at the Brunchen corners.

A little vid with the beginning of a nice pass at the end:

Today is probably the last driving day of the year.

Trackday and I will be coached by the guy who set the fastest lap in the race yesterday

Stunning pictures! I can’t imagine racing there with those lighting conditions.

During the Friday the 13th I did a trackday together with a instructor to see where I can improve.
I'll get back to that later.

After the trackday it was Touristdriving but I only managed to do one lap before they closed for the day because of a big accident in Schwedenkreuz.
A Renault Megane rental car (from one of the local track day renters) spilled coolant.

I was luckily enough ahead on the track so the track was closed when I got back to the parking.
I believe the second Cayman went with its roof against the Armco and eventually took into the air at just the right time. This was an unlucky day with a lot of luck...

Here's the view from within Thilos Seat. Thilo is a really experienced and very fast driver:

I had seen that over the weekend. They didn’t have a chance.
