While waiting in the rain for cars to show up on 24Chromium I had the chance to listen to the wildlife of Nürburgring. Mostly birds. Turn up the volume and enjoy, watch out for the little Red Rooster.
Had a great Monday evening at the Ring. First thing that happened was that I met Marcus S. from Rennlist.
Our paths has crossed before but we wasn't aware of that when we been on RL.
Then 997rs4.0 showed up to my surprise. Really nice! We got some time to to chat after a BMW dumped coolant in Pflantzgarten and the track closed. Thanks for the coffee!
Then I did some laps together with Dale in the Ringtaxi. (In our own cars).
I'll post some videos when I'm on a decent Internet connection.
I've done 150 km/h with it but I try to keep it at 130-140 km/s on Autobahn to get a nice flow.
It is a 1.9L diesel so it does not overtake as well as the RS do
I'm going to adjust the turbo pressure when I'm back home to see how that makes the car go. It is really comfortable. Did a stint from Nurburg to Norway this Wednesday (1300km's) which I think is impressive considering it is carrying another car.
That's very good!
Probably uses a hell of a lot less diesel then my Dodge and high trailer @ 140..
Now it could only tow a little trailer with a yellow Cayman ;-)
