Reference Guide to PTS

Don Murray owns this car, or
it's twin, in Southern California.
I took photos of it back in 2010.
'Chartreuse' is what we used to
call it back in early 911 days.
Porsche today calls it by its
German name 'Lindgrün'. The
color was recently approved at
the request of one of our fellow
Rennlisters from Northern California
(green lantern). It is color code
226.

I'd love to get that on a GT3 but my PTS ask isn't even confirmed yet, and I'm not a big hitter. I was asked to please confirm my PTS color in the next day or two, but you don't get if you don't ask, so I'll ask

I spent some time over the weekend looking at all the approved PTS blues for the 991.. once I made a list I figured I'd bother with trying to actually find a reliable picture to represent the color.. many hours later.. I had a file. No point in holding on to the file when others might find it useful.
so.. here is the pdf file. This represents all the 991 series approved PTS blue names and color codes, and pics representing them where possible. Sometimes i could tell google was wrong with the picture, and I would look for multiple confirmations, where i couldn't confirm the color I left the picture off. Tried my best, no guarantees, i'm no Eduardo

This is actually a color I came up with after coppaflorioblau was rejected as Paint To Sample color. That Pantone color was the closest approximation to coppaflorioblau I could get.
My goal is to use Light Blue Celeste for the upcoming GT2 RS as a tribute to the original Porsche Exclusive 993 GT2 coppaflorioblau car that you might have seen on the cover of the Porsche Exclusive brochure in the late 90s... but obviously without the bright red interior in my case

Anyone know if the wing side tips on the Gt3.2 can be removed / replaced from the main wing ? Im considering an option of replacing with platinum aluminium ( or try and paint to match ) to match elected wheels on a particular build idea.

Nice list. Btw, the Pantone 552C has been renamed to Light Blue Celeste (W80)
