If the paint code is 253 then it's Lichtgrun (light green) aka birch green. This is the R I wanted but all I could get was the paint! Absolutely fabulous car.

No, D.J.. This is different from the color (Code 253) of your
beautiful .2 991 S. It is Color Code 226 which was recently
approved due to efforts of Northern California Rennlister
Green Lantern. And as Macca posted, it is indeed the early
911 vintage color known by some of us as 'Chartreuse'.
Porsche calls it 'Linden Green' or 'Lindgrün'.
For more on 'Chartreuse' & how it got approved, see link below:

Eduardo you really are on top of your game! I had not seen the color on the approved list but the one I have is now rather old. Chartreuse is another amazing color from the '70s.

The car spent a month in the Custom Tailoring status so I guess whatever they did with the seats took a lot longer than anything else! Does Porsche outsource the seats?

making the 918 type LWB seats for the 991 gt3 RS.
And in general I do believe that seats are outsourced
to several manufacturing specialists in Germany. And
remember that this is nothing new. Once Porsche
bought out in the early 1960's the Reutter Karosserie
(Werk II), the latter developed a manufacturing expertise
automotive seating & was a principal supplier of the
now famous 911 'sport seats', known to us as 'Recaros'-
which derives from 'REutter CAROsserie'!
In 2011 Recaro sold the automotive seating division to the
US automotive supplier Johnson Controls. So interestingly,
a great percentage of seats for the German auto business
is now in the hands of American companies (Lear & Johnson C.).

Yes, I would concur. Here are some of which I remember.
