Default Consolidated 991RS thread

Neither he or I have said that Autobahn can be compared to an racetrack!
"No written break in procedure, Autobahn is perfect, only make sure that oil is warm!"

You asked - I replyed!

I don t shoot the messanger but the message is totally wrong

2 sentences one contraddicts the other

"NO break in procedure, only make sure the oil is warm", he said!
He also said "Autobahn is perfect break in"

Then logically we can infer
1st There s a break-in
2nd There s a specific procedure to break-in
as smooth as possible (Autobahn)

Yep, here is a video of some 997 Cups on the same track on race tires:

They're turning best laps around 1:35 flat, compared to the 991RS, which is turning around 1:44. Couldn't find any videos of the 996 Cup on race tires on that track. Anyway, the 991 RS is impressive for a street car.

"GT3rs is limited by time and not by quantity"

"Noticeably more torque over the whole range, low, mid, and high"

I guess you all got "Mammamia!"...

Classic how we don't hear much about rear wheel steer and 21" wheels now that the car is rollling out...wasn't that long ago you'd see incendiary diatribes on these unacceptable changes.

Yes Along with the other RS goods it has over the normal GT3, CF parts, big wing, wider body, etc etc etc And of course there will be a lot less RS's around.
