OP, you should install a 997 GT3 center muffler with catless Cargraphic headers (longer tips had to be fabbed because the GT3 ones were too short)...that's what I did to mine. It sounds like sex!
Radiators are not necessary if proper ductwork and cooking is used. If you want to do them go with the PWR for the radiators. More expensive but it's the best stuff made, and they will take a beating. The other brands are marginally better than stock.
Open up the rear bumper helps a lot for heat as well, as well as running full screen openings in the front. Temps are perfect if you go that route
Will get some photos up of this
Yup, I'm going to hold off on the PWR radiators until I see the car going into limp mode in 85-95 temps. I added nasa ducks off the small rear side windows to dump cooler air into the engine bay...see picture below
I'd love a diff Matt, but you nor anyone else makes one for 987.2 Cayman S cars with the OEM LSD.
Thankfully a shop came up with a spacer kit to make another diff work.
I've got the guard unit, and I had the factory LSD, BGB installed mine.
Also, have you done any testing on the air flow through your naca ducts with the hose at that length? I'd be willing to send you a krestel meter (send it back though please!, haha) to see what the velocity is. I'm wondering how much air the quarter windows pick up based on wind tunnel tests i've watched. I've seen a few GTB cars that had fiberglass boxes that protrude out more in order to gather more air.

When did you get your diff? BBI has been waiting for Matt to produce them for my car. Had to go in another direction as my OEM diff is toast.
I got my diff from Matt and will try it out in a couple of weeks.
It was all Betim's fault. haha It sounds damn good with the Cargraphic race headers. We are going to shake the car down at Buttonwillow on Friday, May 20th with Speed District. You should come out.

I am traveling that day otherwise I would join you out there.
Since you added the race headers, did you have to re-flash your ECU? Which one and any power gains?

Yeah, I got a EVOMS flash for no cats and 100 octane tune. Not sure about the power gains, I might throw the car on the dyno in the summer to find out. BBI also took out the Power Steering Pump (replaced with an electric motorsport unit) and took out the AC Condenser so that freed up load on the engine too.
I ordered the scoops and screens from Tim. The guys at BBI thought they would be great for my car and a good alternative to having to get PWR radiators. Can't wait to get them.
