^^^^ Beautiful!
I'm no RS60 expert, but I understand there were many more silver/red cars than cars with black interiors like yours. Do you know if that is, indeed, the case? Most of the pics I see tend to be of cars with red interiors. Any idea what the breakdown is between red and black interior cars? Maybe it's 50-50 and it just seems to me like there are more red interior cars.

Mine was #800. Red interior and roof. No Bose or nav. Got it from Hendrick Imports in Charlotte NC (my hometown) and brought it to San Antonio in 2014. 5,900 miles. Sold it in 2016 to a Porsche dealer in Morganton NC (mountains). Really miss that car.

The vast majority of them have red interiors, as a tribute to the original RS60... Black Interior + Manual Transmission are fairly rare. When I started my search for one I didn't know there were some with black interiors (they call it dark grey) and when I found mine I feel in love with it... the natural leather option is pretty cool too, very soft material.

Given the moderate temps my car sees, I'm willing to take the risk! That **** is a vast improvement over what I have now. Anyone know whether it would be a direct swap?

I have just become the happy owner of this # 1762 # with 22K on the counter, Has this as a vacation car in our Florida home.
Bought it from Calefornia, it is gray with black top.
In the lists I see that it has been in the forum before, glad that it has been taken care of so well

I just recently got #181 a few months ago. I’m loving the car. Although it is a little high in mileage at 77k. How long do Porsche/boxsters usually last for?
i also joined the Porsche club of America in California as they do driving meets. As of now, the car is my daily. I would like to eventually have it as a weekend car since it’s so high in mileage.
The car didn’t come with the original all red tail lights. Does anyone know where I can purchase the OEM RS 60 taillights?
Thanks!

You've probably heard the oft quoted statistic that over 70 percent of Porsche vehicles ever built are still on the road today. With proper care and maintenance the car will likely outlive you

I don't really expect any problems other than the Dubai climate drying out the rubbers, so I'm considering having most of the bushings replaced. That's about it. 77k isn't really high mileage for a Boxster, I'm sure you could keep it running well over 200k if only you keep up the maintenance With old age, parts will break though, and the top may wear out, but that's mostly going to depend on climate and whether you keep it in a garage or outside.
