Wait a minute. Cayman's don't have torque converters. They have double clutches.

Had valves walnut-blasted, new air filter, tranny & differential fluid & filter changed, engine oil & filter too. Over $3k. Biggest expenditure on car yet - but then I'm on my 11th year owning it, and 72k miles driven - 109 k miles total, & nothing wrong with car.
Need to do plugs & coils but still focused on my 914 resto & will do later this summer......7 years now in my 914 - the original Cayman......

Swapped to a Macan steering wheel. I removed the multifunction and paddles, and added the manual style spoke trim and rear trim sans paddle openings. I also dyed the leather from worn-out agate to black.

Pulled the drivers seat out, to take to the Upholsterer, for minor stitch repair.
Now I own a set of “E-Torx” (reverse Torx) sockets. A 12 point metric “fits”, but not good enough for a tight bolt that hasn’t been removed in 18 years. Highly recommended.

Yeah, I got a set of those when I swapped the coil packs. Keeping Harbor Freight in business.
Cudo’s for not trying to hack away at those bolts with a “this kinda fits” tool.
