Another 2008 Boxster RS60 Spyder just popped up on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2008-Porsch...QAAOSw8WJfZj~a
It's also listed on the seller's website, Hovey Motorcars outside of San Antonio, TX. Red interior, black top, 6MT, Bose; asking $33k with 75k miles, which seems a bit high to me, but who knows these days?

There’s something off....it is just me or do I see the tell tale sign of inner tire cupping in those photos? That’s usually a sign of bad alignment, but I see a good nick to the inside of one of the wheels that might suggest damage. Maybe nothing, but I would check that out prior to purchase.

Just saw one on the Porsche locator from the dealer in Greensboro asking nearly $60k! It has only 11k miles, but doesn't have either of the options you mentioned.

From my experience, pre-COVID, a good price for a manual 981 Boxster S with your spec and mileage would have been mid/high 40’s. Nowadays, a good price would be anything in the low 50’s - if you can get one today in the mid/high 40’s, that would be a steal.

So, just for some market data, I recently purchased a 2011 Cayman S in Platinum Silver. WPOAB2A89BU780543 17,000 miles, super clean, and manual transmission. Options include: Limited Slip, Black Spyder wheels, Black accents (mirrors, grills, badge), Sport Exhaust, Xenons with PDLS, PCM, Nav, Bose, XM, Convenience Pkg., and a few others. I paid $44,000 including delivery. I overpaid I think, but it is damn hard to find a lowish mileage Cayman S with a stick that is very clean with options that were desirable to me. I don't mind overpaying if a pre-owned car has options that I find very desirable. YMMV.

There are still some around in the upper $40k's but they have been going up fast in the last few months. It is no longer uncommon to see them at $55k or more.

Depends on if you are looking at manual or PDK, and Boxster or Cayman. Manuals command a premium over PDK (a couple grand), and Caymans command a premium over Boxsters (also a couple grand).

Buy it, you will love it. Who cares if the prices are a bit hot right now. There is always more money and there is never more time. And, this price seems reasonable, especially with some sporty goodies.

Thanks Just waiting on a DME report from the dealership and if all checks out, tomorrow I'll be wiring the $ and picking it up on the weekend for final inspection before driving it back down to CA

Wow, $38k for a 38k-mile 6-Speed Cayman with X73 and PSE? Sounds like a pretty good deal to me! 38k miles is pretty low for these cars, and it's rare to find a base 981 with both X73 and PSE. Hope the DME report checks out.

There is a nice 6-Speed 987.2 Boxster S Black Edition (linked here) with under 6k miles, selling for ~$55k | VIN: WP0CB2A85CS799080
I think the car is way overpriced, even with the mileage being so low, but it does have a nice spec (has Sport Chrono, PSE, heated/ventilated seats, locking rear diff). Would be interesting to track the price of this.
