Even with the Cayman R wheels, 3-piece Work wheels, and 18" track wheels I run on my current Cayman R ...still find myself oddly gravitated toward the Lobsters I ran on my old 987.1

I like those too, put them back on my Boxster and they look so good! I use E88s on my Cayman R, and really don't like the stock R wheels, light as they are. Neither did the guy I bought the R from a few years back, he took them off the car right away.

If I was going to use 19 inch wheels, I'd like the Carrera II's. Great funky shape.

Pics and specs of your E88's? Thinking about getting some but its hard to find any pics or info on 987s.

Edit: I saw the pics of your Boxster a few pages back. Would be interested to know the specs still.

I had them on a Cayman… for that aggressive look you can space them out almost flush with fenders… 15r and 7-8f

Can't tell you the specs on the E88s because I had them built by Butziwheels. I asked that he get it to OEM offsets. They are 18s.

The prices for E88s have gone way up since I had these done, I think in 2017. Mine were around 4k, maybe a little more because I had the outer lip pieces painted gloss black. I see now that shops are quoting over 6k.

You have to get adapters for regular nozzles, and my fronts will lose a pound or two every few weeks. I haven't bothered to reseat them. Otherwise they work as dual street and track wheels. I ended up putting mine on my Cayman R.
