The OZ is my winter set. For summer I stick to the OEM spyder wheels. So, for me 18 inches would have been even a more meaningful option for winter. Unluckly (or luckly ) here in CH, since it's a imported car, I can only use whells stated on the Porsche COC (certificate of conformity), that foresee only 19 inches. They anyhow look big enough. With 20 the side wall would be too thin for my taste.
In this pic (it's the destity of my car being always dirty) you can see a little bit better that in theory there is still a lot of room for lower ET but I am not a big fan of spacers and most of all I am happy with the stock geometry.

… good old thread… The Cayman S with OZ HLT’s in matte silver…tires Advan V601’s




sizes: Front- 19x8.5 +49 w/ 245-35-19, 4mm spacer

Rear- 19x10 +40 w/ 275-35-19, 10mm spacer, effective offset +30. Might even go 5-10mm more

OZ Racing Alleggerita HLT, 18x8 front ET +50 (7mm further out than stock), 18x10 rear ET +40 (1 inch wider and 3mm further out than stock)

They do indeed look good, but as you suggest an absolute pain in the bum to clean.
Not only all those little, thin spokes, but also the extra nooks, and you just cannot clean the calipers or inside of the wheel either.

I ditched my 19-inch Sport Designs for the 18-inch S Ronal, and picked up a better ride, some side wall protection for the occasional rough road, cheaper Pilot Sports, AND easier to clean the wheel and calipers.
