I love how you said "no LWB by choice".. It's our way of sticking it to porsche's ordering system.. Like saying "I'm not going to do what you're telling me to do, I'm doing it only because I want to" LOL

My SA talked me out of them. I like comfort in out and I know my wife would hate the lwbs.

Default AUX jack and iPhone "storage" placement.....

What are people doing/inventing this time around for keeping their phones (iPhone 6 specifically) within reach and visible?

The old Spyder had a nice, little cubby in front of the shifter for the phone, and all you needed was a long cable going from the AUX jack in the center console armrest to the phone to play/scroll music. PCM wasn't needed as you had control through the phone.

The new Spyder has the AUX jack in the glove box and no real place to store a phone -- other than inside the glove box (not an option!) or on the passenger seat. I did not order PCM this time around either in case you can't tell. . Thanks for any suggestions.

There was a German-made product that worked with the cigarette-lighter cubby.. You just slotted your phone into it and it connected to PCM.. Not sure how to find the link at the moment

I use airframe plus for iPhone 6 Plus works great although it does cover the vent you mount it on. Use in my mac an turbo and did use in my 991 when I had it

Yes you can see the Fire Extinguisher well and it looks good. If you are close to Bergen County in NJ , JDP has a CW Spyder in their Showroom. Next time I am there I will try to remember to take a picture.

Hi all...I have driven many manual Porsches over the last 25yrs and I am finally purchasing my first.....
A 2016 Boxter Spyder
Guards Red,Leather Int,Red Stitching, Leather Steering Wheel/Shifter,Red Seat Belts/door pulls,
Seat heating , Manual a/c
CDR ,,BOSE, Sirius
Tinted Taillights
PCCB
Wheels Satin Black
All Free Stuff.. Nets/Bluetooth
PDLS,LDP
Extended Fuel tank

MRSP 98,540

I am really unsure whether to keep PCCB ( as brake rotor size difference is negligible and my wheels will be black), and the Sirius Sat verse streaming music from phone.....so I MAY cheapen the build
Actually, while driving I rarely listen to music and my phone is always on the waze app to get road warnings.....so I am not sure what to do with Sirius.....I was told it cant be retrofitted so that is why I have it......
