Red/black 6MT Cayman GTS with 9k miles listed for $89k. Pretty crazy price.

On the hunt for a higher mile Gt4 - any color - must have buckets. Thanks!

Fair value for this 2015 981 GTS Cayman?
Listing
I'm trying to determine a fair price for the car. The dealer is asking for a $2,000 deposit before a PPI. I’d like to have a reasonable price in mind before making that deposit.
The Carfax report shows a clean history with 20,000 miles, one owner, and regular maintenance. Carfax Report:

What would be a fair price for this vehicle?

Seems a bit on the high end, no? I bought a Boxster GTS with 9k miles, perfect paint, new tires, MSRP was about $87k. I paid nearly 10k less than your car's asking.
That being said, I LOVE THE CAR! I would have paid more! lol

Funny enough I am located maybe an hour or less from that white car.

Some very good points, @AdrGTS . When I found my car, I had missed out on another one by a few hours and it drove me nuts! So I was not about to let that happen again. So when mine popped up for sale LOCALLY(!!!) I went to see and drive it, then bought it on the spot. My biggest comment about finding the right car and paying whatever you think it's worth, is time. Money can't buy time! I have since driven my car over 3k miles in a few months after doing every possible service I could do. I took it to Tail of the Dragon and more. So if I was still looking and waiting for the "right" car, would I have had all that time to enjoy the one I bought?
Food for thought.

Really tough to say right now. I have my GTS up for sale(link listed a few posts above) for not quite as long as that white car and its lower mileage, slightly more MSRP, and with X73 and I am priced quite a bit lower and not getting many bites. There are a lot on the market right now, priced where the market was, but not moving. Really seems like people are not buying and sellers aren't willing to drastically drop prices. At the end of the day, I think cars are worth what people are willing to pay for them. If it is your dream car, you have to ask yourself what you are willing to pay. These are niche vehicles with a lot of different specs.

I like the car, all the maintenance is there, but I don’t want to overpay by an unreasonable amount at the end of the day.

@AdamIsAdam I agree with all that. I was on the hunt on and off again for about two years and before that I kept looking and it was very rare to find a car that checked all my boxes and was also not across the country. When my red car popped up 2hrs away I acted fast. Got it in for a PPI, went to see it, and locked the car up. i did try to negotiate but they were not having it. So I paid what they were asking and have always been very happy that I "got my car".

How's the paint? Have you seen it in person? (fyi, my car had PPF and paint was absolutely perfect). My car also had brand new tires and came with an extended warranty which I took over. So if you don't have to spend $2k on tires, $2-5k on PPF and not a lot on shipping, then maybe this is "your" car. If you have to spend $10k more on top of purchase price, maybe not.
I'll say this: don't lose a great car for a few grand. That money is long since forgotten as you enjoy your new toy!
