I know some aftermarket insurance companies can and sometimes will walk from paying for the repairs if the price of the repair exceeds 3 times the cost of the policy. They just refund your money and say good luck. IMO a PPI is critical and vet the dealership/indy not all are the same.
I stumbled on a great deal on a 16 GT4 with 3k miles on it. Checks every box but color but I can work around that. I might be selling my 15 981GTS Manual fully loaded Rhodium Silver over black, all the go fast goodies plus leather interior etc. 24k miles. What is the consensus on value here?
Looks too good to be true. Looks like this car has some history on rennlist, not sure if being modded and tuned has any lasting effects with these cars...

Depending what fully loaded means. Yea, I'd say GTS' are typically going for 70-73 from what I've seen. Except for the one below lol.

Looks like that's close by me. Whats the history? Mods and a tune won't hurt anything. How it's treated after the mods might have an affect on it though. Run the usual tests and see what comes back. That's down to cayman S type pricing.
Searching the VIN shows that it passed hands a few times on rennlist, going from track car, to having catless headers + tune, and eventually back to stock. Impression I got was that the dealer was willing to move on price even, so not sure whats up.
Yea theres a few porsche dealers on Long Island. Whether or not the Audi dealer will bring it to them is another story. Might want to shoot them an email or call and see if thats an option. I'd imagine shipping down to TX will be a couple thousand on an enclosed trailer. Dealership might be able to arrange it. I'd ask them while youre on the phone w/ them.

The car is mine now! Plycar should be picking it up at end of this week or early next week.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get a PPI or see it in person, so I’m a little spooked. But at 10k miles I think it’ll be fine. Will be getting a Fidelity warranty asap. I agree on the front bumper plate mount, but I’ll just rip it out and plug the holes I guess.

Enjoy it! Post up once you get it home and get some miles on it

15 manual 981
Rohdium silver over black w/black 20" wheels. Full leather with alcantara inserts and door cards. Sport chrono, Torque vectoring, X73, red belts and gage faces red sport chrono face, light package, factory fire extinguisher, Nav, Bose, rennline front grill screens, there is more but need to locate the build paperwork. Just had its 4 year/ 40k mile service. It will hit 26k miles this weekend.
The only down side i can think of is the darn front license plate frame. I will miss this if I sell.. Although if my offer is accepted I have access to a cherry 3k mile 981 GT4. So if they say yes I will putting it up for sale but won't know till next week.
I purchased it in 16 with low miles and serviced it regularly.

It looks ver clean & well cared for from dealer pics and carfax record. Congrats & enjoy! Actually I'd be buying it if you did not. They told me it's sold
Thinking about moving on from my Boxster GTS. Testing the water.
Great car, I love it but it's a little too small for me. I'm 6'3 and it gets a bit cramped on longer drives. Very high spec, $97k MSRP. 17K miles. Little over 3 years left on Fidelity Platinum warranty.
Newer PS4S tires plus a few extras. Zunsport grills (I think) Lloyds mats, Ceramic tint, Glass wind deflector, Cover and charger plus a couple of things I can't think of right now. I believe it has a ceramic coating but no documentation. Cover and charger plus all maintenance records from the second owner and myself. Owned from 8700 miles. Not 100 percent sure I want to sell but really thinking in getting into a 991.1 that will fit me better. Goes in for the yearly oil change and then storage till spring next week.
Also has Musicar tweeters that are installed and can include for an additional $.
