I have PIWIS II and Developer mode has the German language User Interface. Did I understand correctly that PIWIS 3 in Developer mode has the functionality to use any other language (Eng etc.)?

Might be an ignorant question - but I haven't seen any discussion on how to enable Sport Plus once the coding is complete.

Are folks able to add the Sport Plus button to their switch panel, or is it activated via the MF wheel, or even PCM?

Sorry to add to the thread randomly here, I'm considering purchasing a 981 and am trying to understand the process here.

It did add the G meter and Shift assist to the gauge cluster which is nice to have. @Visual thanks for the write up!
I have manual car also so I can add G meter and shift assist without clock? Do I need console button?
how do I get sport or sport plus to show on my steering wheel

The sport/sport plus steering wheel indicator lights are only in the sport chrono steering wheel and the activation of the indicator light in the cluster is discussed in post #5 above and think it may only show as activated only in the in the console button light. You would definitely need a sport chrono wheel to even attempt coding the lights.

I installed the Sport Chrono clock and the sport plus button in the console and have not yet activated it with a hacked code and PIWIS. I think the only way to activate the sport plus is with the added console button which will need to be coded. The clock worked immediately without coding and PIWIS. @Visual reviewed in detail in the first few posts the coding and function of the sport chrono function and display.

If you have piwis 3 enter in programmer mode it should not ask you for the code.

Has anyone done this successfully? My indy has PIWIS 3 but I'm not sure what mode he's trying to use.

I used this to buy the switch panel.

In this case you would be better off with a piwis with engineering mode, this way it will no longer require activation codes. Just did this to my Macan 2018 with PCM4.0 with piwis3. I first tried with an original tool without engineering available, so when selecting QR5 sport chrono plus, it would require a code. After I tried with another piwis3 but with engineering mode available, just went and selected the option, no code required, in less that 5 min the option was activated.

That's a different model with a different version of PCM. But I'll have a look into it.
