Default CS steering wheel

I'm about to buy this. Are there different sizes or is this the one I want? What about airbag light going off?

Not aware there are different sizes for this. The factory one on mine is the statndard 14" Porsche fitment. I'm also assuming that all didn't (or don't) come with an airbag option. I would imagine too that you should be able to disable the airbag light (pull the fuse/relay etc).

There are a few threads on the topic.

Besides the other information, as I was researching the wiring diagrams as shown in the PET, I noted an option M564 (without airbag) that references a p/n 928 612 220 00 which is termed as 'bridge adapter'.

Does this item somehow play into the topic?

The guy at sunset told me about that part, I said "if I need it" to go ahead and include it in my order. He referred to it as "the plug".

You can also use an ohm resistor to fool the system. Plenty here have gone that route.

Yes, the resistor is much cheaper and easier to do. I have a few spares if you want me to mail them.

Easier to do? Is that part difficult to install

Look at the how-to section for air bag deletion on this website. http://www.944s2.com/

Thanks Jay I have read that a few times but don't see anything about just installing the resistor. Do you still have to cut wires and stuff if your installing the resistor?
