Beg to differ, prices have really started to move on the rare 968's, and this one checks all the boxes. 1 of 1 rare color, M030 and 220. That car would pull $40k+ on BaT. The Speed Yellow coupe just sold on PCar for $46,500, and it had no M030, LSD, even the lousy 16" cup wheels. I suspect that Horizon Blue won't be for sale long.

I hope you are right! How much do you think the color is worth of that 36?
That is not a low milage car. Looks like it was taken care of though.

Saw the LSD, did not see the Mo30. My car has the LSD, no Mo3o but sans brakes, most of the other goodies.
Still, it's is a 100k mile car +.

I did a lot of homework on this particular car as I almost bought it a month ago. It's a good car but there were some questions. Also, the more I thought about it, it wasn't what I was looking for in a 968 so I ultimately passed.

Here's a low mileage Amazon Green cabrio 6 spd. I was always a huge fan of green and tan color combinations.

You need to understand that only 99 cars had M030, and only 76 cars came with both M030 Sport Suspension and 220 LSD. Then add the rare color, that's the reason for the price. It's worth every nickel, maybe even a bit under priced actually. Rare colors can add $10k, rare option another $10K, both together it becomes a case of it'll sell for whatever someone is willing to pay. It can't be replicated, so how much is that worth? The issue also is the 968 is generally not an investment Porsche, other than the CS/Sport/Turbo S versions. So the folks buying a 968 are generally not the well heeled crowd from Barrett Jackson or Mecum. Then the age of these cars generally exclude them from being financed except by the specialty folks like JM Best and Woodside who have rather strict lending requirements. Banks and Credit Unions generally won't touch them, too old. So that means they typically need to be bought as cash deals. Folks with cash aren't looking at 968's. They are kind of in a donut hole unfortunately. But pricing has definitely been creeping up slowly but surely.

That was one of the reasons I passed. The car was used like it was intended. I wish I could see it in person.
