1993 6 spd coupe on Craigslist - NYC area. Just thought I'd mention it. It's not mine, I just happened to notice on Craigslist.
That ought to sell pretty soon.

Man I could never live with those wrinkly, potato sack, off color seats.

Yep, whoever chose that seat replacement color made a mistake to most of us. I could easily ignore it if my intent was just to have a fun car to drive.

An acquaintance is selling his 968 coupe. Very original and in fine shape overall. 36k miles, Aventurine Green. The clutch replacement was the correct disk, I helped with that. And he is throwing in his belt tensioner tool..

This is a very reasonable deal on a set of Cup 1 wheels that are proper fit the 968. Not sure about how they were refinished (IE painted or powder coated) but they look reasonable and the price is reasonable. No relation or affiliation to seller, perhaps Jay will pick them up for you if you ask really nice !

Do I have this right? The difference between 17 inch Cup 1 and Cup11 in the angle and thickness of the 5 spokes? Cup2's being slightly wider and rounder?

yes, the difference is in the spokes. Not sure if Cup 2's are actually wider, but they do have a more rounded shape to the spokes. Also, lug nut recesses on Cup 2's have a more teardrop shape than the straight round design on Cup 1's. This IS a very good price for these wheels!

One thing to buy on ebay with paypal protection. No such protection on a Craiglist transaction.

That's funny. Y'all found me my great deal on my coupe a couple of years ago. I just emailed that I'd take those wheels. /We'll see if I get lucky. Seems ATL is a good place to be if you need 968 stuff. Even the nations most experience transaxle rebuilder was in my area.

I have a crazy set of Volks on my cabriolet. I plan to keep them installed, but it's always a good idea to have a backup. My coupe's Cup1s have some minor flaws so I could always make them the backups.

Seems to be a previous thread on this car here?
Repainted Cobalt, looks to have the engine bay trim even though it's a '95?

The coupes are asking (not sure if getting) crazy dollars.

Wondering how many have deferred maintenance issues?

There is a tiptronic cab for sale in the PCA magazine.
