I've wondered about this. My '94 with option 398 came with Cup 1 wheels and the previous owner who bought it used in 1995 swears they are the original wheels from the car.

I ran it by Jeff years ago and I think he said the exterior interior combo was 1 of 5 or something and midnight blue. Here's the VIN if @jeff968 wants to look again for me

EDIT: My bad, you were right, it is Iris blue! I found the stats Jeff gave me years ago. Whoops... I was right about 1 of 5 in this combo though!

"10K IN STEREO SYSTEM AND RADAR DEVICE" seems extremely hard to believe.

"10K IN STEREO SYSTEM AND RADAR DEVICE" seems extremely hard to believe.

Assuming descent maintenance history, that is a STEAL, IMHO.

Have you seen the top lightweight transducers? It's not hard to spend
$7~8 grand putting together a nice lightweight system in a 944/968.

Doesn't seem too bad. I have seen the car twice before. On eBay in July 2005 in FL with 35k miles. Then again in May of 2008 with 55k miles. Also in Florida. So not many miles in the last 12 years and it switched coasts. 1 of 59 in that combo.

Interesting coupe "project" on eBay. I like the rare deviated black carpet with cashmere interior.

I like some deviated carpet setups (like mine), but I do not like that. Red with cashmere works well for me, or red with black. But throwing the black in there, at least in photos is too much for me. Not that it would be enough to keep me from buying it.

The problem with any of the light carpets is they dirty so easily and look shabby. Black always looks like new.
