Hey man, I would love to see a thread of pics of your car. You should post it up.

    V,

Tire size would be the same for the 944 and 924s. I have the widest rubber my rims can accommodate. For that matter, the fronts are 6" and the rears are 7". All you need to do is add a 10-15 mm spacer and it's a nice look.

    V,

Tough question (wheel fitment). In general, the 924s/944 require 52.3 offset while the 928's varied depending upon size/year. In addition, the former is, for the most part, a 15" while the later used 16s +.

Here's a link to a less than stellar fitment chart: http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/inf..._chart/porsche

    Part II...

I've never been a particular fan of the 944. It reminds me too much of what was bad about the '80s...lol...! The fenders remind me of the shoulder pads that seemed to pervade (women's) clothing and I can't but help hear Duran Duran when I see one. On the other hand, the 924s had it all going on: it was minimalistic in nature, teardrop in design (like one of my other favourite things), and was actually faster than its older brother--the 944. So, all in all, what a great way to get introduced to the world of Porsche. Best yet, there isn't a write-up in the PCar magazines that would suggest otherwise.

    Roger
