Of the 11,

10 were partial leather,
1 full leather (the red coupe)

and while we are on the topic of chestnut, there were actually 6 cabs produced with chestnut brown tops!

that's right, the 5 white cabs of course, and there is an aventurine cab out there with a cashmere and black interior and a chestnut brown top! 1 of 1 of course!

I'm pretty sure I had one with the matching chestnut top but previous owner had it changed to black. The chestnut top was incredibly ugly. It did, however, have a chestnut tonneau which was great. I think photos of that car exist further back in this thread.

There are products in the back pages of car magazines to help with that. No personal experience so can't vouch for the results

Thanx Raj, will be posting video comparisons of 6 such products including the special "tape and splint" on this thread soon.
Or, should I send a PM?
Arash, says "Hi!".

Thank you Paul Waterloo for sharing the photos of this beautiful car. Whereas I am not always a fan of red cars, this one looks good, and the interior looks spectacular. By all accounts it is a very rare combo of color and interior. As to price: my pennies worth is that the ask does not reflect the seemingly good condition nor the rarity of the interior/combo.
Any ideas as to time and mileage since the TB and WP was last done? Being a relatively high mileage, I suspect that the answer to this question will be as pertinent to the assessment of price as the uniqueness of the interior exterior combo.

I have info on the red/chestnut car back from when it was for sale in 2009. The window sticker was with it and it had a number of mods on it at the time. According to the seller at the time, he added limited slip to the car among other things.

And I am in Daytona not far from the car!

Oh I wish these cars had a tad bit more power....I would trade my 87 951 in for one! I loved my 968, but I really LOVE my 996.

To each his own. I'm quite satisfied with the 968 power and love the car for its uniqueness and timeless design. Someone will do well with the red coupe. That is a great price for such a rare 968.

A '95 cab is up on BaT.

http://bringatrailer.com/listing/199...968-cabriolet/

High miles (about 200K), but seems well cared for.

Jeff, what can you tell us about the options on this one?

EDIT, the vin is WP0CB294XLN480578

I'm just curious, why would someone buy that car for the price indicated and not first take a run at the speed yellow car. Beyond me!
