If you can restore the "parts" car for less than 10k of work and get a car worth $17k out of it, it'd be worth it wouldn't it? They claim it is a good restoration candidate.

The one in NJ is really nice. I'm guessing he thinks he can get a premium for a single-owner car vs something that's traded hands 10 times and god knows what done to it. Lower chance that it ended up with an idiot at some point.

The price seems right for a 1 owner fully sorted car with all records from day 1. Car looks very original. Pretty soon cars like this will no longer be around. Hopefully the next owner preserves its originality.

I would challenge anyone to finish that car for $10k. Keep in mind, one must put value on labor even if you are doing it yourself. Too far gone, too much involved.

I was mostly curious because I pciked mine up for 6900 a couple weeks ago and while I knew it was a good deal, I didn't realize that it was that good. It needs a few thousand to make the exterior and interior ~95% but mechanically it's perfect.

The 1992 Coupe in Jersey looks like a good original example with moderate mileage. As Raj says these original examples in good condition are getting harder and harder to come by. Of course an extensive PPI should be performed to assess mechanical condition and service records would be a must at the price he is asking. The price actually is a very fair price if the car checks out.

Has anyone seen the 1993 Black Coupe/ Black Interior with 39,000 original miles second owner for sale listed on the PCA website? Its located in Canada, has 993 / 1994 seats in it. Its listed at $39,968.00 US dollars. Claims all original paint and panels, no accidents. It has original Factory Cup 2's on it, my personal favorite. Looks like a great original example.Believe its priced correctly if all the maintanance and service records are current and its in concours condition. What say you Gentleman?

Just checked it out. See a few scrubs by the turn signal. Also the engine bay looks dirty. For a car commanding this kind of $$, you should not be expecting to spend any further funds to sort it. Also, the non-oem oil filter is a turn off. Dunno, the few things I saw turned me off somewhat. Easy fixes. Hopefully it is fully sorted.

I'll bet it is a 1994, not a 1993. strange that they would screw up on something like the year??? It has the 993 style seats, 17" cup2s, and lack of engine bay trim, all indicating it is either a 94 or 95. Nice looking car though. Black/Black is common but looks fantastic. I like it.

Yes noted, Didn't they switch over some of the 1993 Left Over units to 1994 Models and switch the seats in the process Jeff?. Also were the 17" Cup2's an option at all on the 1993 units. Don't know if this was an original Canadian Car Import, If so would you have access to the options on this one Jeff, if you had the Vin#?

Yes and No, they did switch left over 93s to 94s but the ONLY thing they changed was the tenth digit of the VIN, from a P(93) to an R (94). Everything else stayed 93.

Nope, 93s and early 94s (originally 93s) would have the 17" cup1s (option code 403) and the later cars have option code 398 (17" cup 2s)

Don't know if this was an original Canadian Car Import, If so would you have access to the options on this one Jeff, if you had the Vin.
Yes, get the VIN and I'll tell you the details.

Jeff
