Default Wimbledon!

Here's a rare one. 1 of 9 coupes in Wimbledon green. needs a little love but an unusual color. FYI, the painted rear spoiler is original to the car.

So would the proper response be "Love" ?

Personally I think this car would clean up pretty well. Yeah it's a dirty pig at the moment but a little time with a pressure washer and some degreaser the engine would look good again, a good polish/wax would do wonders on the body and finally swap the dash and drivers seat and you would have a decent car again!

Agreed Colin, and I like the Wimbledon (then again, I like Mint green too). Wimbledon is often ordered as color to sample on later model cars. I've seen a few of them.

It's not a color I would chase, but I don't hate it and it is certainly unique and desirable to someone. And while pictures can be deceiving, I agree with 951 - it appears that it can easily be improved with some TLC. The only hard hunt may be a good used deviated dash.

The cashmere/black interior is THE MOST popular interior on the 968 with 1,353 of the 4,242 968s produced for North America having it so I'm betting there is a nice used dash out there.

Now if you were looking for a Light grey/Magenta dash (7 out of 4,242) then you would have a challenge in front of you!

Now that I think about it, duh! There was no cashmere interior with the upper portion same color. They were all black - correct?

Remember, I live in a Classic Grey world......

There were other dashes that were all the same color, like your favorite, classic grey, but when it comes to cashmere, it is always paired with black on the top.

I remember seeing that car on craigslist in September....can't remember what the asking price was.....but I think it was considerably less than $7K.

these cars cost a plenty.

like they say; you can't get a little bit pregnant.

signup fees are just the beginning.

I just heard a long time 968er picked it up. Fantastic! I'll let him break the news. Cool and rare car!
