Default 992.2 Configurator is up

At the same time as the German site, for a change. Updates in price are the most noticeable.

Prices are getting crazier. I bought my 2023 Carrera Cab with a base of $118,900. The price now starts at $133,400! Only 0.1 seconds improvement 0-60, 1 mph increased top speed, and 9 more horsepower. Is demand that high that they can get away with this??

Charging for paint that was $0 is…something.

I think the last few years finally gave the pricing guy at Porsche a kick in the rear and he realized he can charge a lot more

For now, yes. Fake scarcity is being moderately well played by VW. The factory wants their pound of flesh. VW is not doing well, and Porsche is an excellent cash cow.
200k without a lot of options on a GTS cab. Effectively replacing the Turbo (non-s) in price and maybe in performance. At least Carmine red is a bit cheaper now. It's awful how few standard colors are available, even for that ridiculous price.

Do like Lugano Blau. That blue will be a popular choice.

My 2024 C2 with the same options was $6,935 cheaper with like for like options. Porsche is really telling us they really aren't in the market to make you feel like you're getting any sort of value by now charging $1,500 for GR when it has been a standard color for over 20 years.

Only 3 good colors: Carmine Red, Gentian Blue, and Chalk. Too bad Arctic Grey is gone.
