Thanks, I hope you like the production data.

Back in the nineties Porsche used a horizon blue coupe for US photos. I often wondered if it was your car. It looks like a close match.

Cool

Wow... I guess she is a keeper... Plus she may be a photo model.... Getting sexier all the time. Now I understand some of the m030 benefits.. All of a sudden... The ride is smooth as silk... That is Horizon Blue Metallic silk!
Thanks Jeff

Looking for some help. Just joined the forum today and unfortunately looking to sell my 1992 Guards Red Tiptronic 968. It is my last Porsche that I have and I may be moving internationally. Girlfriend says it has to go. Now I know it is a rare, but how rare so I can determine a fair price for me and the buyer. Here are the particulars. VIN# WP0AA2961NS820247. I know what that means except the 20247 being the serial number with modifications (what modifications)? Next is this designation 944 04 then M4444-42N R4400-. Paint Code is L80K or full Guards Red exterior with LT (leather seat option). I have the following Option Codes: C02, 139, 249, 288, 383, 387, 454, 490, 494, 498, 650 and 891. I know the car was originally shipped to a dealer in Lake Forest, IL and a novelist bought it from Aspen, CO. Afterwards, it was purchased in Beverly Hills, CA and then by another dealer whom I bought it from. I know it being a Coupe, Tiptronic and having Sport Seats make it rare, but I don't know the full details. The vehicle was serviced only at Porsche (by me) and has a total of 37,000 miles. Any help would be appreciated.

#187 of 649 1992 NA 968 coupes
1 of 548 G1 Guards red coupes (2nd most popular color on coupe)
1 of 313 G1 Guards red coupes paired with a black interior (2nd most popular combo)

Factory options (with codes) include:
LT - partial leather in black
139 - heated driver's seat
249 - tiptronic transmision (423 coupes had tips)

Comments: I believe your car has a December 1991 build and does not have the recessed hood badge. The combo of tip and sport seats is rare. I had to figure it out. Only 9 north american 968 coupes had a tip and sport seats.

Thanks Jeff, you are exactly right it has a 12/91 build date. You are an expert on this model, what do you feel is a fair price for the vehicle I own?

Got one for you, Jeff.

It's an interesting one that I found, close by recently. It's about parted out, but I wondered to the rarity of it. Current owner said it was from Eugene, Oregon. It did over 200k over its lifetime, wound up with some carbon fiber wrap on the hood and a pretty trashed interior and some loud noises in the head.

Vin ends in PS820370

What's the package and history on it?
