Hello guys!
At the minute I am in search for a 968 CS prefably in Speed Yellow, Martime blue or white.
Obviously I am new to the 968 model and have always loved them since they 1st come out. Since childhood, not matter how much stick the 924 had, I had always loved the bubble rear glass model and its shape. But surprisingly, never a fan of the 928, even though they shared it shape.
I always remembered the first few that came into the UK, when a friend father had bought one of these lucky CS in yellow when at University.
Anyway, enough of the waffle! Am sure I am not the only person coming on here asking for advice in buying one of these.
I would love to know what to lookout for, common symtoms mechanically and cosmetically.
I have found a lovely yellow one, but has done I think 130k miles, but cams, cambelts, clutch and flywheel were all replaced at 115k.
I know these cars will have had many owners, and some have been tracked, I will of course for the age expect some fresh paint on these, change of wheels due to damage, panel damage if tracked. What do I look for?
I have noticed rear bumpers not fitting right, and i think if am correct, that the bumper seals and bumper dont fit right.
Help, thanks
Norm

If you can get one with Clubsport seats, they tend to be a premium.
Nice to see stuff includes MO30 spec for brakes and roll bars, and E220 which is the factory fit limited slip diff. Make sure it has the CS cup 2 wheels too - the fronts will be 7.5s rather than 7s.
Good luck with your search,
Fraser.

Fraser, there is one for sale, but it has yellow cup2, was this standard? or have they been changed? its done over 100k and belt, clutch has been done, 4 owners, normal cloth seats not buckets. Tempting, but not rushing into it!
