968 goes to a car show
Went a little car show today...
Cleaned up the Porsche and put the Cup 1s on.
Had some fun with the models.
Won best in show.
Good times.

Have you tried polishing?
I also thought my red car was toast, it was orange on some panels and pink in most panels. Trevor came by one day, armed with some knowledge and recommended items from Steve Z, buffed the heck out of it, and now it looks RED. Saturated, vibrant red.
I had tried polishing before and got it to look "good", but after I saw what Trevor did, I'd say my work was at best 75% as good, and it's that last 25% that makes it pop.
But dude, OMG, if you don't wax it every week, it will just oxidize again. I keep it outside but under a cover, and after 4 weeks it looks like it did before. Maybe rejex isn't good enough.

I may try some serious buffing, with power tools. However, one side of the car was repainted already, so I suspect that it will always be a bit "off" until the whole thing gets resprayed together.
