Raj,
Another sign that it is not a Canadian 968 is the lack of headlight washers. All canadian 968s had them. Finally, a look at the 968 coupe registry shows only two 968s produced with those classic gray full cloth script seats and neither of them is blue (one is slate gray, the other aventurine). I'll bet the car is from Japan or something like that.

I know this is probably asking too much, but has any aftermarket manufacturer ever produced an all-smoked (dark grey/black) 968 tail lens?

I've always loved how the solid-red 968 tails matched the red paint...now that I'm considering a black respray, I'm thinking I might want to match the tails to the paint in the new color, like when I got all-smoked FK tails to match the black paint on my old VW.
