Ernie: send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you Dave Greimann's pdf on how to install a CS-type wheel in our cars. His instructions are for the AJUSA copy version.

Now driving around with a SC steering in both hands love the feeling quite a difference from the air bag OE,started around 10:30 this morning & finish the job around 2:00 this afternoon that include cleaning my mess LOL not bad for a first timer will send pics later on,a special thank's to John for sending me that pdf make things a lot easier beleive me ,also to Raj for all the infos he provided to me,one part was left over & even Jeff at Sunset don't really know's where it goes it's the (bridge plug)but it could be the part that fool the air bag ligth some kind of resistor. And as far as buying from Sunset I would not hesitate one minute to purchase from them again they are very down to earth peoples that will help you out no problems.

LOL there some pics of what the man kind do when he set is mind to.Last pic is off the resistor instead of taping it I shrouded the hole thing with a rubber cap to secure it & then I tie wrap it under the dash as suggested by Raj (LOL Raj I hate you for suggesting it what a darn place to get at)

Very nice, great DIY job. I think I like your rubber cap solution better than electrical tape, just taping it up makes me worried that the resistor would get broken somehow.

I really want to know, as you drive it, whether you find yourself missing the two horn buttons. The panel that you press for the horn is very close in to the center of the wheel, it seems much less convenient (small price to pay, though).

I find it ironic that a thread titled "omg what an ugly mess" has ended up with pictures of a sweet steering wheel.

I remember eighty-thousand, four hundred and thirty miles.

As for the horn button: it's much more fun to mash the heel of your hand into, I can assure you.

Oh I'm sure it is!

The only reason I ask is that I've found the buttons easy to use while maintaining a tight two-handed grip on the wheel (10/10ths braking when cut off by SUVs, etc) and I'm wondering if I might actually start to miss that...
