I don't think so.
My 944 was India Red and had a touch of orange when next to Guards Red.

Tough to say with this one, cause the pics are crap.

Is there any information as to TS color production?

Nice, wish I could buy it for my garage. The VIN should have Zs, not 2s, WP0ZZZ96ZPS890064, in case you want to run a CarFax

The way I heard it, years ago, was that "Indiscrot" was based on the very, very slightly orangey red of some Guards regiment of the British Army in colonial India. Hence "Indian Red" in the original German, but idiomatically translated into "Guards Red" for the English-speaking world.

Of course, the real truth is that auto manufacturers sell cars with the same name and/or paint code over years or decades and year to year, they aren't always the same. I don't know if it's an inability to maintain the same chemical formulation over time, changes in the availability of materials, formulation changes required by law, or if it's just tweaking to make things "better".

Guards Red is certainly nothing close to "Blood Orange", though.

Reds are inherently the most unstable of paint pigments over time. Very few cars with their original "Guards Red/India red" paint job would not have changed colour significantly over time.

Guards red was originally quite vibrant and deep. Quite striking when new. These days, many look quite orange, or sometimes even pink.

I wouldn't buy a 968 Turbo S at any price, in any case. What's the point in having a 968 without variocam?

That's what I'd heard as well. And boy, would I like to own that car in that color.
