Default 'Ruf' intake manifold

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GENUI...item19b605c2c5

I guess he threw Ruf in the title just to make people think it's something more than just a nicely powdercoated intake manifold?

I don't think there's anything misleading.
Says genuine Porsche 968 manifold.
Propably trying to broaden the key words a little.

Nothing misleading one to think it's a RUF part in the actual discription.

Radar has Ben trying to sell that for at least a year. Started a $700.
I sent him a message full og laughter.

I think sold a Dyntech SB recently for $2k.

He gets some nice stuff.

Yeah, he wanted my car when I bought it. I still think it's a little misleading to put RUF in the ad when it's the same as every other 968 manifold. I think it was $1,000 originally.

yeah, I would like to buy his used yellow shifter boot. Not to use it but just to put on a shelf as it is a rare option but he wants $225 for it, too much for me for a display piece.

How about those speedlines listed @ $10k+ earlier this year?

It's funny, he lists alot of things beyond top dollar, and
eventually someone ponys up the money. Amazing

The 993 and 964/964T boards here were cracking up over those wheels.

I bought the red Cups from him and he shipped them to Australia for me, very obliging fellow. I had no choice as I can't get parts like the wheels anywhere in australia, even Europe proved hard to find original correct OEM Cup 1 wheels in the factory correct offsets for a 968. + I got a near new set of Pirelli's in the deal, Still with american air in them!

I tried to get the intake manifold from him as well, but he was firm on the price...

Where did he sell that? I have a 951 that I was planning on putting on my turbo. It's brand new and I have decided not to put a strut brace.
I guess I gotta put it out there.

Blue in case you did not read the whole thread, I believe they are saying they'd sell for $2000

Still can't understand what part of that intake is RUF unless they want to capitalize on someone using the RUF keyword, which would be a lie.

Did RUF ever offer a tuning/variant on the 968?
I don't recall ever seeing/hearing of one.
If so, I would agree, the use of the term 'Ruf' in this context is inappropriate.
