It's not particularly rare, and it was a stock color for at least a couple of years.

Amazon Green is a fairly rare Porsche color - except in 93 968 coupes for some reason. At one point there were three Amazon 968s running around Raleigh, NC. People kept telling me they had seen me in placed I had not been! It is a great color - but very hard to match for a body shop (ask me how I know that...).

I have a 1993 Amazon Green as well. Must have been a sales incentive or they made too much of the paint. Looks blue to me. Great color.

As far as North American 968 cabriolets, sales code N7 Amazon Green is the 6th most popular color with 100 produced, 4.98%. I'm working on the coupes right now and it looks like there will be even more coupes in Amazon Green.

Amazon Green is the 6th most popular color
That is so strange, as it is a very fairly color with the 964 model of the same vintage. The Carrera looks great in Amazon.

I bought the car with the wheels on it. They are 18" and are cheap Ebay specials. Heavy, but they look pretty good.
