Hello Everyone.
I have recently moved to Hershey, PA and am in need of a good place to take my car for service. Anyone know of any good mechanics/shops around the area??

My 968 is making a squeeling noise when the A/C comes on...think the belts need to be changed perhaps

Welcome to the neighborhood. I concur that Pete at RS Barn has quite a few satisfied 968 customers plus there is a Porsche dealership in Lancaster. Give me a call at 717-838-6307 when you get a chance and I can give you an overview of local 968 activities. Suggest you join the Central Region PCA asap since they have some great events coming up.

Try European imports in Harrisburg. They are just off of State St. They are very good and have been working on Porsche for many years.
Don, Do you live on the west side of Palmyra? There is a red 968 on the way to my brothers house. Do you also own a Lotus?

Good knock on the Pennsylvania Dutch - not sure I would do that if you want to come visit PA again - lol!

Alpine White - yeah, not my Lotus. Other car is a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe with 110k miles. If you are in the Palmyra area (across from the North Londonderry Movie Theatre) stop by to check the Chevy and 94 Guards Red Coupe (12,900 miles) out.

I grew up at the top of circle dr. My parents still live there. I have not seen you car in the neighborhood. I was originally refering to the red coupe on the west side of town, just down from Pine St elementary. My brother lives on Elm St. Mr. Brown I did not meant to interupt you thread. European imports is very reputable and is very familiar with 968s. One of their techs worked and crewed on the 968 race car on this forum. The blue turbo with "Protosport on the side".
