Default Looking to buy a 968

Well it appears I'm finally moving back to Canada. I'm looking for a decent 968 coupe to be my daily for a while. I'm not looking for a garage queen as it will be driven in the winter nor are performance mods important as I will be keeping the race car for track events. Non-dark colours (easier to keep clean, not red either) are preferred but it's not a deal breaker. Something in the NorthEast or MidWest preferred although I might consider going as far as Florida.

There are some great 968s up in Canada. Every Canadian spec 968 came with a standard package which included heated seats and headlight washers. Autotrader has a site there.

There was a great looking Amathest coupe for sale in canada last week but it is probably too dark a color for you. Had the extremly rare multi-color cloth seats (plaid).

I would actually prefer something in Canada but there wasn't much available this week. The Amathest coupe didn't come up.

Are you interested in the contact information? It was a sweet car, 17"s and limited slip. Looked nice and clean.

I would seriously have considered this one but it's a tip so that's a no-go and BC is way too far away.

The RIV program applies to cars less than 15 years old, most 968 will be outside of the program's reach.

I am considering selling mine at the moment. Send me a PM with your phone number and we can discuss.

Rare 6 speed LSD

Specs:
Books and most records.
Original window sticker.
Car was bought and serviced at the same Porsche dealership prior to my purchase.
I have most receipts for parts I have replaced. I have owned the car since April 06.

Paint is 8.5 out of 10
Black interior (9 out of 10) Removed back seats and installed Rear Cab Storage Cubbies,
Carbon DASH trims, MOMO steering wheel and shift ****.

6 speed LSD (Trans rebuilt in the last 35k miles pinion bearing and synchros)
New starter, clutch, DMF, Clutch Hydraulics (master, slave and RS barn SS hydraulic line) in the last 10K miles.
Cylinder Head freshly serviced and all lifters replaced last year by Pete @ RS barn.
Cams had NO CHIPPED TEETH.
Also replaced the timing belt, balance shaft belt and rollers last year.

Fresh brakes going on this week, new front pads, new rear rotors/pads and fresh Super blue brake and clutch flush.

Upgrades:
MO30 sway bars, Adjustable Koni's, H&R Springs, Big Reds (993 Twin Turbo front brakes), SS brake and clutch lines, B&B CatBack, RS barn chip,

Car currently has Factory Boxter Twists 17"x7" front and 17"x9" in the rear.
Add $2100 for the staggered 18" Kinesis wheels.

My asking price is $11500 with Cup II's wheels.
I know there are cheaper ones out there but this one has all the goodies and most major maintenance items addressed.

Runs great, still fast and tight.

Car is located in Maryland 30 miles north of Baltimore.

StyleLab, The car in Chicoutimi looks nice but it is over 1000km away from where I am.

PorscheDude1, really nice car, just the colour I'd like too. I have to head back to South America for a couple of weeks, if I can't find anything closer when I get back we will PM.
