    Thanks for the info. You're right about fedex ground, it's the cheapest option.

    Yeah I shipped it. As long as the weight is under 150lbs. you can use FedEx ground. I fabricated a Styrofoam and wood cradle in a big Rubbermaid storage bin and put the transmission in it. Total weight came to about 146 lbs. This was a turbo tranny with LSD and oil cooler loop which was removed and shipped separately. Best of luck let me know if you need anymore tips.

    I was reading a thread where you were trying to ship a transmission. Did you ever ship it? How much did it cost int he end? What courrier?

    So, this is for a earlier (86 car) then? If so am intrested if still have it. Have been talking to John. Only big concern would be support with Vitesse and software upgrades. Unless you have already sold it anyhow. If still in sale mode my e-mail is jim@m3glass.com
