A small batch of GCS headgaskets have just arrived here. I only have 4 of them - order quick if you want them. They are ideal for all you racers. They go fast!

Whats a GCS (Graphite Composite Steel) head gasket?

Just a quick note, the 911 & Porsche World November issue just hit my local Barnes and Noble-it holds the article about Edz968s supercharged car.

Carl, put me down for one of the head gaskets.
Damian, the article was ok I think, but running the alternator tensioner at that time so wasn`t performing to the full potential. The photo shoot took around 4 hours and hundreds of photos, for just what you see in the mag, though I did get a CD with a few extras. Good day though

Be advised - I have been holding back a price increase on these kits as long as I could. Several smaller bits went up in price and I just absorbed the cost.

Raptor is raising the price of the supercharger head unit to me and I cant get around it.

The price of the Stage 1 and the Stage 2 kits will be going up $200 very soon (within a week)

If you want current pricing, call Gretchen and place a deposit down on a kit to lock in today's price.
Pay the rest when you can, then we ship.

Very tidy Chris - we had lunch with Boxsey (who you'll know from other forums) a couple of weeks back and he said you were going very well in the morning.

He was there in his 964 C2 (white). From what he said it looked like a lot of those booked on gave the day a miss, so you'd have had plenty of track.

Well done.

Fraser.

Default New Kit Developments

We are improving our Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits.

Very few who are driving our 968 kit on the street as designed are experiencing any belt slip issues. However, those who DE Day or track the car have reported belt slip - we are adjusting our kit to eliminate belt slip for all.

Stage 1: the new Stage 1 pulley is in production now and is slightly larger, knurled across the entire face, and hard-coated for toughness. This improved supercharger pulley will be available as a free upgrade to all current kit owners.
I expect it to be ready to ship in about 3-4 weeks.

Stage 2: we are designing and manufacturing a billet alluminum crank pulley for the 968 now for the Stage 2 kits. This is similar to those we make for our other Porsche and Ferrari kits. This will speed up the blower without loosing tractive force normally associated with going to a smaller supercharger pulley.

The Stage 2 pulley will be available at cost to current Stage 2 kit owners, and retail pricing on the Stage 2 kit will go up as a result of the added part supplied.

Nice one Carl.
Good to see that the R & D is on going and feedback from users is making this kit a success

I have been surprised by how many of these kits are being taken to the track.

I designed for street use, and figured 1 or 2 would go racing - but its been many more than that.

So I'm going ot throw my arms around the racers and see if I cant engineer a soultion for them as well. It will make the street use better too.

That`s even better news.
We know the 968 has a good chassis, but a lack of power with today`s current crop of hot hatches, which led me to get this kit and be more `competative`on track, is good news for the cars ability. Just need to hone the drivers ability now.
