This thread has now gone from someone asking about a strut brace, to now several personal attacks. That being said, we have two options here. One, get back on track of the original post, or this thread will be closed just like that other one was done a few weeks ago. I can assure you that the next post that is engaging any inflamatory remarks, will warrant this thread to be close. It is your call.

And for the record too, if you go and delete a post you made, Mods can read them. So please be advised that your orginal comments will be noted.

I wonder why the original brace is so thick - is it any lighter than an aftermarket unit?

Is it because it has to be more curved than a 944 unit that they made it this way instead of simply reproducing the simple and effective solution of the 944 turbo Cup? Would a similar steel unit fitted on a 968 bend?

Heigo and KLA make strut braces for both cars and they are equally thick...

Food for thought...

I would guess that its much lighter as it is mostly Carbon Fiber.

To stop from feeding into the OT, can we start another thread for this?

Pazzer

Please start another thread, as this one has become twisted enough. And then share with the community your dyno sheet.
